Alyson Wiedenbeck

Co-Founder of TCOP

Alyson has a undergraduate degree from the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire. She is currently pursuing a masters degree in speech-language pathology at the University of Wisconsin- Stevens Point, where she is also involved with the Stevens Point CC. She first discovered a passion for sharing the sport in her hometown of Racine, WI.

Before moving to Point, she coordinated the junior program and organized corporate events at the Eau Claire CC. She also started the UWEC Curling Club and served as president for four years.

In 2017, she, along with Jenna Burchesky, created The Curler Outreach Program (TCOP), which ran in Eau Claire, WI in 2018 and 2019. In 2020, Alyson collaborated with Team Senneker to create the Curling Educational Series.

Emilia Juocys

Team Senneker

Emilia has a Masters of Science in kinesiology specializing in sports management from the University of Illinois-Chicago, a BS in Anthropology from Loyola University in Chicago and a Degree in Culinary Arts.

Sports, food, and competition have been major aspects all of her life from youth basketball to Team USA for Women’s Rugby 7’s. She strives to assist others to learn the key elements of being a smart and strong athlete and curler on and off the ice.

Emilia began curling as an adult in 2006; since then she has been to numerous USA National Championships for women’s, mixed and mixed doubles. She is a member of the Kalamazoo CC, Sarnia CC, and Margarita CC.

Stephanie Senneker

Team Senneker

Stephanie holds a BA in Classical Studies (Languages & Literature) from Michigan State University.

She began curling in 2010 at the arena club in Kalamazoo, Michigan. The next year she began practicing and playing in Sarnia, Ontario, and eventually moved to Port Huron to be closer to curling in Canada. Stephanie has competed in numerous National Championships, including Arena, Women’s, Mixed, and Mixed Doubles. In 2014, Steph claimed her first National title as a US Arena Champion alongside her teammates from Kalamazoo. Though she does not get to curl in Kalamazoo as often these days, she remains a member of the Kalamazoo CC as well as the Sarnia Golf & CC.

She is a success story for the arena curlers who aspire to move into competitive women’s play in the USA.

Andrea Wendt

Curler OUtreach coordinator

Andrea received her BA in Psychology from the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire where she served as Secretary of the UWEC Curling Club and coach of the Eau Claire Curling Club junior program.

Andrea met Alyson at the Racine Curling Club in the junior program, where they curled together for 3 years. Currently, Andrea has taken over coaching the ECCC junior program and hopes to earn her Master’s degree.
