An Evening with the Umpires: The Rules of Curling for Athletes with Susie Czarnetzki

The Curler Outreach Program is proud to present our first chat with officials. Susie Czarnetzki and surprise guest official will talk about about various rules, new rules, safety and game protocols.

Susie Czarnetzki is a Level 4 USA Curling official and a World Curling Federation official, having worked the 2018 Olympics and is scheduled to work the 2022 Olympics. Susie began curling in 2007 in Willmar at the Glacial Ridge Curling Club. In 2009, she took the Level 1 & 2 Instructor Courses, planning to teach as a way to contribute back to curling and grow the sport.
